Ms. Trapp ran for office and won the seat of Village Clerk in November of 2022. On July 11, 2024 Ms. Trapp resigned her seat as elected Clerk. The Village council is looking to appoint a Clerk to fill the position until this November’s election, at which time the candidate that wins on the November 5th ballot will fulfil the remaining 2 years of the 4 year term.
