BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED

We are pleased to announce that the water samples collected following Saturday’s water main break have come back clear, and the Boil Water Advisory has officially been lifted.

Residents may now resume normal water use.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation throughout this situation. Our Department of Public Works crew worked around the clock to repair the water main and restore the system as quickly as possible.

Thank you to our DPW team for their hard work and dedication, and thank you to our residents for your understanding and support.

BOIL WATER ADVISORY****WATER MAIN BREAK****

Water Main Break & Boil Water Advisory

Village of Romeo Residents,

The Village experienced a large water main break on Saturday, September 26, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Our Department of Public Works (DPW) crew responded immediately and worked around the clock to repair the break. We are grateful to our DPW team for their hard work and dedication in getting the water main repaired that same evening.

Due to the change in water pressure resulting from the break and repair, the Village has issued a Boil Water Advisory until further notice as a precaution.

Water samples have been collected and are being tested. We are hopeful that we will receive positive test results by Tuesday or Wednesday, at which time the advisory may be lifted.

We will continue to keep residents informed through the Village website and social media channels and will notify you as soon as the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure the safety and reliability of our community’s water system.

Thank you,
President Poznanski
